It's all about the fatalities - 11.19.08 @ 05:21 PM EST

Great guilds are always progressing, knocking down new targets and never stopping in their pursuit of conquering it all. They recruit high RA folks to keep their overhead low and raid nightly at an aggressive pace to conquer content as quickly as possible. They routinely get their guild tag shown in 'server first loot' screenshots/etc. Some folks feel that everyone else is chasing them, trying to catch up.

Truely exceptional guilds, such as Savage Arms, overcome the exact same events. What makes them exceptional is that they take the harder path. They don't require 80% RA levels, so they have to recruit 2x-3x as many people. They train 2x-3x as many people, work as a team with 2x-3x as many people and progress through events with the same 54 man caps. Exceptional guilds overcome the slow times, dwindling game player base and sometimes the loss of truely great players. Being flexible, valuing their player base and catering to their needs is a huge job and easily eclipses the work of winning the events.

The officers, raid leaders and class leaders of such guilds help make that part a success. Without them there would be no first wins. Once they accomplish the above, they still need to work the events with their guildmates and execute the winning strategy. Those members working as a team and hanging tough during the losses also help make a guild truely exceptional.

Does this sound like a guild that's chasing the 'great' guilds? Or is SA simply better, harder working, achieving victories at their own pace, making EQ bend to their will. Now that's ultimate power!!!

Maybe you feel you're exceptional, or perhaps you want to find out if you are. If you can raid at least 2 nights a week, fill out an application here.

Here are the latest fatalities!

You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk? - 10.21.08 @ 06:07 PM EST

Sothgar was feeling pretty lucky as he layed his eyes upon 44 members of SA. He thought he's killed raids comprised of 54 members before, how tough could 44 be? Well, he felt lucky, but he sure wasn't lucky =) In fact we've cleared Sothgar twice in a row now, I wouldn't call that luck, I'd call that an predetermined outcome.

While we don't weild 44 magnums (the most powerful handgun in the world), we do weild the might of SA (the most powerful force on the 7th hammer?). We're a tight group, we run a tight ship, we follow the ABCs of clearing EQ content as it was meant to be done (we're not skippers, we plow through it all!!!)

Maybe you feel lucky? Or maybe you want to join the gang of lucky souls, know as SA? If so, fill out an application here. Make sure to note we seek skilled players, players willing to learn and those who can participate at least 2+ nights a week of raid time.

Suspected SA Gang Attack Kills Beltron the Shade Puppet! - 09.24.08 @ 07:30 PM EST
-- posted by Alcho

NORRATH - A 500+ year old puppet hanging out with his giant friends was attacked and killed by numerous, suspected gang members on 9/9/2008 in a crime that is drawing cheers from other 7th Hammer gang members.

The body of Beltron the Shade Puppet was found in the corner of the room as per the pictures below.

The attack came during a week span during which a single other attempt was unsuccessfully made on Beltron's life. Witnesses at that prior engagement are still rattled by the strength of the attack and few are suprised that Beltron lay dead after only a 2nd attempt on his life.

Beltron, who was a shade puppet, was brutally beaten about the thighs and ankles. Investigators confirmed the attack was gang related but had no evidence it was racially motivated. Also, several of his personal belongings appear to have been stolen, though the primary objective seemed to be his slaying.

Witnesses at the scene described the attacking gang as numbering around 46 SA gang members. Descriptions of the suspects varied greatly, some described as ankle biting gnomes, big headed barbarians, stuck up high elves, kick-em-in-da-goodies wood elves and even sexy ogres. Investigators report that eye witness reports are too diverse to help the investigation, short of confirming the fact that Beltron was killed by SA gang members and that it was a brutal onslaught.

Maybe you have the skills, want to be with skilled people like you or just want to join one of the top gangs on the 7th hammer? If so, fill out an application here. Make sure to note we seek skilled players, players willing to learn and those who can participate at least 2+ nights a week of raid time.
